Terms of Service

Khajasaja is an online marketplace that connects customers in Pokhara with local restaurants. By browsing the app or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Khajasaja.

1. What Khajasaja Is

Khajasaja lists menus from independent restaurants in Pokhara and lets you place orders with them. Khajasaja is not the restaurant. We do not cook, store, or handle food, and we do not employ the riders or staff who deliver it. Each restaurant on Khajasaja is responsible for its own menu, pricing, food quality, food safety, and delivery of the order to you.

2. Your Account

You need an account to place an order. We ask for basic details such as your name, email, phone number, and delivery address so restaurants can prepare and deliver your order correctly. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and for any activity that happens under your account.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are sending a request to buy specific items from a specific restaurant at the price shown at checkout. The restaurant may accept or decline your order. If a restaurant does not respond in time, the order is automatically cancelled and you will not be charged. Prices, availability, and preparation times are set by each restaurant and can change without notice.

4. Payment

Khajasaja currently supports cash on delivery only. You pay the restaurant or its delivery staff directly when your order arrives. Khajasaja does not collect, hold, or process payments on your behalf.

5. Delivery

Restaurants on Khajasaja deliver their own orders. Delivery times shown in the app are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by traffic, weather, and how busy the restaurant is. Please make sure your delivery address and landmark details are accurate. Khajasaja is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address information.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel an order before the restaurant accepts it. Once a restaurant has accepted and started preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible. Since payment is made in cash at delivery, most disputes about a wrong or missing order should be raised with the restaurant at the time of delivery. If you are unable to resolve an issue with the restaurant, contact Khajasaja support and we will help mediate.

7. Restaurant Partners

Restaurants listed on Khajasaja are independent businesses. They are solely responsible for the accuracy of their menus, the quality and safety of the food they prepare, compliance with applicable food safety and hygiene laws, and fulfilling accepted orders. Khajasaja reviews restaurants before they go live but does not guarantee the quality of any restaurant's food or service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Khajasaja, including placing fraudulent orders, providing false contact or address details, abusing restaurant staff or delivery personnel, or attempting to interfere with the normal operation of the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

Khajasaja provides the platform connecting you with restaurants "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Khajasaja is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of food prepared by restaurants, delays or failures in delivery caused by a restaurant, or indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Khajasaja grows. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Khajasaja after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pokhara, Nepal.
