This Privacy Policy explains what information Khajasaja collects when you use our app, why we collect it, and how it is shared with restaurants so your order can be delivered.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information directly from you:

• Account information: your name and email address, used to sign you in.
• Profile information: your phone number, used by restaurants to confirm orders by call if needed.
• Delivery addresses: a map pin, area, and a landmark description (detail direction), used so restaurants can find you accurately.
• Order history: items ordered, restaurant, price, and order status.

We also collect some information automatically:

• Device and browser information, for keeping the app working correctly and securely.
• A push notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can alert you about your order status.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To send your order and delivery address to the restaurant you order from.
• To send order status updates by push notification or SMS.
• To calculate delivery locations using map and address lookup services.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive orders.
• To improve how Khajasaja works based on how the app is used.

Your name, phone number, and delivery address are only shared with a restaurant once it has accepted your order, not before.

3. Who We Share Information With

Khajasaja does not sell your personal information. We share information only where needed to run the service:

• Restaurants you order from, so they can prepare and deliver your order.
• Clerk, our authentication provider, to manage account sign-in securely.
• Supabase, our database and storage provider, which stores order and account data on our behalf.
• Google Maps, to turn your delivery address into a map location and pin.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver push notifications to restaurants and customers.
• Sparrow SMS, to send order and verification messages by text message.

These providers only receive the information needed to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4. Cash on Delivery and Payment Data

Khajasaja is cash on delivery only. We do not collect card numbers, bank details, or any payment credentials, because no online payment is processed through the app.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and order history for as long as your account is active, and as needed to resolve disputes, keep accurate business records, and meet legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

6. Your Choices

• You can update your profile details, addresses, and phone number from your account settings.
• You can turn off push notifications from your device or browser settings at any time.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

Khajasaja is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Khajasaja grows. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
